The Lawn

If the weather is fine, resist the temptation to begin mowing your lawn before March. If anything, continue clearing the lawn of any debris and any worm casts that may appear. The besom is the ideal tool for this job.

If you are creating a new lawn, turfing should be completed this month or soild preparation (weeding, digging over, enriching) begun if you are growing your own.
